The interplay between transport, spatial planning and the environment is complex and rich.
CILT is particularly interested in the impact of land-use and environmental planning on transport, and vice versa, and ways of reducing the impact of transport on the environment, including, particularly, the use of alternative fuels (especially in public transport).
